The upcoming Tamil action drama Master by Actor Vijay has announced its theatrical release via a Tuesday poster. The mega-budget film will be released in three languages for the Pongal festival on January 13 next year. With a special poster featuring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, the makers revealed this and confirmed the simultaneous release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
The film features Vijay in the role of a college professor with a violent past. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist.Master, which also stars Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Andrea Jeremiah, has been produced by Xavier Britto. It marks the maiden collaboration of Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
In association with Seven Screen Studio, 'Master' is produced by XB Film Makers, and it will be the largest release in Vijay's career. Vijay and 'Master' have also reportedly requested the Tamil Nadu government to increase theater occupancy in the state.
