Classic Legends has announced that the 50,000 sales milestone has been crossed by Jawa Motorcycles in India. In its portfolio, the company currently has three offers-Jawa, Jawa forty-two, and Perak.

The revenue benchmark was met over a span of 12 months and also covers the lockdown period due to the pandemic of COVID-19. Due to the waiting period ordered by the brand on its motorcycles, the company claims there was no inventory during the lockdown period.

In a statement, Classic Legends announced that the company is continuing to expand both its production capacity and distributor footprint to meet the steady increase in demand for Jawa bikes. By December 2020, the dealership footprint across India is projected to surpass 200.

“As the newest entrant in the Indian motorcycle market, we are proud of what we have achieved in such a short duration. As a relatively recent start-up, Classic Legends has readied a full scale production facility to support the three models that we introduced as a part of the resurrection of the Jawa brand, set up an unparalleled and widespread sales network; and have ramped up all our operations constantly to meet customer demands. Crossing the milestone of 50,000 motorcycles in a span of an effective 12 months of full operations is of utmost significance for us." said Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO – Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd.

During the few festive days of Oct 2020, the company recently celebrated the delivery of 2000 Peraks, India's first factory custom bobber. The Perak has also done well for Classic Legends following the powerful success of Jawa and 42.

Classic Legends has also begun exporting Jawa bikes, as well as to Europe, with Nepal in the immediate vicinity.
