The Nanoli Speedway Racetrack is currently being built alongside the country's Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has already already approved the upcoming racetrack.

The Nanoli Speedway racetrack was designed in association with Driven International by former F1 driver Karun Chandhok, who is also responsible for latest improvements to the Kari Motor Speedway.

According to the owners, the track is currently in its early stages. With the last one being finalised, the specification for the track has undergone several revisions. According to the organisers, the track is an excellent place for optimised vehicle testing.

Additional configurations, namely the Speed Circuit with 14 turns and 2,788 km of track and a West Circuit and an East Circuit with seven and eight turns and 1,425 km long and 1,463 km long tracks, have also been designed for the track.

A Jaguar F-Type simulator has already been run on the racetrack. A lap time of 1min 21.6sec and an average speed of 123 km/h were reported for the sports car. It is currently only limited to Grade 3, although the track has FIA accreditation. However, once the track is finished, it is expected to obtain a full FIA licence.

Currently, the Buddh International Circuit, Madras Motor Race Track and the Kari Motor Speedway are three operational tracks in India. Of these tracks, after the Indian GP was dropped in 2013, the BIC is the only F1 permitted race track but has been used for other purposes.
