Hindi daily Hindustan article quoted officials sources saying Railways has sent a request to the Home Affairs Ministry of the Union to operate these additional special trains. Those trains will be routinely sanitized and passengers will have to arrive 90 minutes early at the stations. Before they begin their voyage, they will have to undergo thermal screening. Plans are underway to control the number of passengers at stations, Hindustan reported.and tickets for these trains can be purchased up to 120 days ahead. The railway ministry is already operating 15 pairs of special Rajdhani trains from May 12 and 200 mails and express trains from June 1 onwards.
