A new survey on Wednesday reported that 74 % of people in India say they will continue to work from home more than they did before the Covid-19 pandemic.

A recent Lenovo study found that 62 per cent of the country 's respondents are worried that emerging technology could even destroy their work. The survey showed that 82 per cent of the Indian respondents said their main concern was the security of personal data.91 per cent of respondents in India believe that their use of laptops during this pandemic has increased, far more than the global average of 85 per cent.

"Lenovo 's global research findings signal a paradigm shift in the way a modern workforce works and we are doing everything we can to inspire them," said Rahul Agarwal, CEO and MD, Lenovo India, in a statement. The report revealed that, while working from home, 95 per cent of participants in India already agree that they "became their own IT guy."

Many of India 's respondents said the technology makes them more effective and competitive. The study found that 78 % of respondents in India believe the technology they use at work is becoming more intuitive and user-friendly, while 84% think they could do their job better if they had better technology skills.
